Urbyn uses your email address only to operate project or location watches you explicitly confirm. We record your consent, subscription status, and delivery history so you can manage or unsubscribe from alerts.

Project and location watches

Project alerts cover meaningful, verified project changes. Location watches provide a weekly digest of dated, sourced changes for a selected city or neighbourhood. Every alert includes an unsubscribe link. Urbyn does not sell watch-subscription email addresses.

Address search and maps

Address searches are sent to the BC Address Geocoder to establish a location. Urbyn does not store entered addresses in user profiles or analytics. Temporary search caching retains only a hashed lookup key, coordinates and municipality for up to one hour. Interactive maps use the existing Mapbox service and load when requested.
